Pronounced “new-ee dawn-fair,” the name Nuits d'Enfer suggests a night of passion and no-rules possibilities. The 2021 NdE earns its reputation and black-label Reserve status as an untamed Bordeaux-style blend that pairs brooding Cabernet Sauvignon to pedigreed Cabernet Franc and Merlot.

The 2021 Nuits d’Enfer is bursting with rich, dark red and dark fruit aromas and flavors: full, ripe dark cherry, currant, plum, and blackberry. On the palate, the fruit flavors marry together with baking spice. The long silky finish lingers with vanilla, licorice, and a hint of black pepper. The bright acidity lends well to food-pairing and would be wonderful served with a simple grilled burger with caramelized onions on a toasted brioche bun. Only 77 cases were produced — recommended consumption now through 2029.
